Privacy notice
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 3, 2026
Anvilpoint is a brand of Four Eyes Media LLC (“we,” “us”). This notice explains what we collect through anvilpoint.com, our booking process, our calls and our emails, and what we do with it.
Data we work with inside your company’s systems during an engagement is handled differently. See Client systems data.
What we collect
Information you give us
Your name, email address, company, role and phone number; your answers on our booking form and calendar; and what you tell us on calls, in emails and in any files you send.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site or open our emails, we and our service providers may collect device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked. We may use cookies, pixels and similar tools to do this.
Information from others
We may receive information about you from people who refer you to us, from our service providers, and from public sources such as your company’s website or professional profiles.
How we use it
- To schedule and hold calls, and to scope, quote and deliver our services.
- To communicate with you, including confirmations, reminders and follow-ups.
- To market our services, content and events to you, and to measure and improve that marketing, including advertising on other sites and platforms.
- To understand how people use our site and services, and to develop and improve our products and services.
- To create aggregated or de-identified information that doesn’t identify you, which we may use for any purpose.
- To keep our site and business secure, prevent fraud, comply with the law, enforce our terms and protect our rights.
- For any other purpose we describe when we collect the information, or with your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as website hosting, scheduling and customer records, email, video calls, analytics, advertising and productivity software.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold, merged or reorganized.
- Authorities and others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect rights, safety or property.
- Anyone else you ask us to share it with, or agree to.
Client systems data
During an engagement we may work in your company’s tools and see your business records, including information about your staff and customers. We use that data only to do the work you hire us for, under your written agreement with us. It stays in your tools and in any service you approve in writing. It doesn’t go anywhere else, including AI tools. When the work is done, we delete any copies we made. We never use it for marketing. We keep our own business records of the engagement, such as the agreement, invoices and correspondence. If your written agreement says something different, the agreement controls.
Your choices
- Marketing email: unsubscribe at any time with the link in any marketing email, or by emailing us. We’ll still send messages about calls or work you’ve booked.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Where the law requires it, we’ll ask before using cookies that aren’t essential.
- Ad targeting: where the law gives you the right to opt out of targeted advertising, email us, or use a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser and we’ll honor it.
- Calls: we take notes on calls. We’ll tell you before we record or transcribe one, and you can say no.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. For contacts, that’s while we’re in touch and for a reasonable period after. For clients, it’s the length of the relationship plus the time we need for tax, accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to get a copy of it, to object to or restrict some uses, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent you’ve given. To make a request, email hello@anvilpoint.com. We’ll confirm it’s you, then respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps you ask for and performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, marketing, improving and securing our business; your consent, where the law requires it; and complying with the law. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Where your data is processed
We’re based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and aren’t directed to anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. We’ll change the effective date above, and if a change is significant, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
